I am originally from Indiana, where my parents and all of my extended family are from. I moved to Florida when I was 9 years old.
I went to the University of Florida and came back to work at my former high school, Lake Gibson High School, for 10 years. During that time, I married the love of my life, Larry Smith, and we had our twins, Christian and Mackenzie Smith. They have been the joy of our lives.
In 2003 Larry and I chose to follow God's leading to South Korea to work at Taejon Christian International School. Our children have grown up here in Korea, in a loving, Christian environment, surrounded by Christ-like educators who have encouraged them throughout their education.
Living internationally has given us the opportunity to travel to some amazing places, including various countries in Asia, Australia, and Western Europe. We have treasured our 18+ years with our children. They will attend Northwest Nazarene University in August 2018.
